Devotees perform Narayan Bali Puja to offer prayers for departed ancestors and seek their peace and liberation according to Hindu religious beliefs. It may also be performed when recommended by a priest as part of ancestral rites.

Narayan Bali Puja is traditionally performed at sacred places associated with ancestral rituals in Haridwar, including Narayani Shila. The exact location depends on the arrangements made with the priest.

The duration depends on the ritual method and family tradition. Some arrangements take one day, while more detailed ceremonies may extend over two or three days. Confirm the duration with the priest before booking.

The suitable date depends on the family's tradition and the priest's guidance. Some devotees choose Pitru Paksha or specific auspicious dates after consulting a knowledgeable priest.

A close family member of the departed person traditionally performs the Sankalp and participates in the ritual. The appropriate person may vary according to family customs, so consult the priest if you need guidance.

Depending on the selected procedure, the puja may include Sankalp, worship of Lord Vishnu, symbolic funeral rites, Pind Daan, Tarpan, Vedic mantra chanting and Havan. Confirm the exact inclusions before booking.

Pind Daan is commonly included in the traditional Narayan Bali ceremony. However, the exact procedure and offerings may vary depending on the priest and the selected service.
