Lakshmi Pujan is a traditional Hindu worship ceremony dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, the deity associated with wealth, prosperity, abundance, and auspiciousness. Commonly performed during Diwali and other auspicious occasions, the puja includes deity worship, traditional offerings, mantra chanting, and aarti, with prayers for peace, well-being, and prosperity in the home or workplace.
Lakshmi Pujan is a traditional Hindu religious ceremony performed to worship Goddess Lakshmi, who is revered as the goddess of wealth, prosperity, fortune, beauty, and auspiciousness. The puja is especially associated with Diwali, when families illuminate their homes with diyas, decorate their entrances, and offer prayers to welcome prosperity and positive beginnings.
Devotees also arrange Lakshmi Pujan at homes, shops, offices, and commercial establishments during other auspicious occasions. The worship expresses gratitude, devotion, and prayers for responsible prosperity, harmony, and well-being.
In Hindu tradition, Goddess Lakshmi is associated with material abundance as well as auspiciousness and well-being. During the puja, devotees seek her blessings for peace, stability, wise use of resources, and prosperity in their personal and professional lives.
Lord Ganesha is commonly worshipped alongside Goddess Lakshmi during Diwali Lakshmi Puja. Lord Ganesha represents wisdom and the removal of obstacles, while Goddess Lakshmi represents prosperity and auspiciousness.

3. Traditional Offerings: Flowers, fruits, sweets, water, incense, and a lit diya are offered to the deities. Other customary items may be included according to regional traditions and the selected puja method.
4. Lakshmi Mantra Chanting: The pandit or devotee recites Lakshmi mantras and prayers seeking blessings for prosperity, peace, and family well-being.
5. Worship of the Home or Workplace: During Diwali or business-related observances, devotees may include prayers for the home, shop, office, account books, or workplace according to customary practices.
6. Aarti and Prasad: The puja concludes with Goddess Lakshmi's aarti and the distribution of prasad. During Diwali, families may also light diyas around their homes as part of the festive observance.

It is suitable for Diwali celebrations, new business beginnings, and other auspicious occasions when devotees wish to worship Goddess Lakshmi.
